5th Sunday Vibes

The June 2025 5th Sunday Industry Meetup was one for the books. From Cartersville to Decatur, from Midtown to the Southside—beauty professionals from all corners of the city pulled up to connect, collaborate, and recharge.

Hosted at Boxcar at Hop City, the afternoon brought together salon owners, mobile stylists, product developers, and beauty executives for great food and even better conversation. Light bites, courtesy of the Male Cosmetologist Association, kicked things off as everyone placed their orders, set their phones down, and leaned into real conversation—face-to-face, no filters needed.

We talked about it all:

• The latest technology impacting the salon and product space

• Upcoming hair show trends to watch for this fall

• And of course, the best places to eat, hang, and enjoy Atlanta between appointments

It wasn’t a panel. It wasn’t a workshop. It was exactly what our industry needs more of—a space to show up, be heard, and be celebrated.
